Building the Pabo Mansion

Since a few days we improving the living conditions of our pabos. For them and a few more we are building a mansion, more than a chicken coop. Out of bamboo, footing in concrete and and 1 foot up painted with old motor oil. The walls will be in tomorrow, then one day for a door and a windows, then some concrete slush on the floor for easier cleanup. It can be done guys, not that difficult. Just a little bit of work. Make sure that the door handles are high enough so that dogs cannot open the doors. I heard some neighbor has difficulties with his smart dogs that are always opening the Pabo door and letting the Pabos out, yes Hallelujah.

The roof has some cracks due to the drying of the bamboo. Will fix it if it creates a big issue during rain. Maybe also motor oil? But interesting bamboo concept. Nothing will last for ever.

To be continued.

Whats up on the Farm?

3rd day without water since FIBECO changed a transformer in the substation. Then the water pumps dont run and power is down. They dont have doubled up transmission lines so that they can easily take out one to fix it, or to switch it on another grid line. Mmmh. Well, well, it will come.

Our washing machine also failed, but I think it is only the fuse that burnt since a screw blocked the rotation of the drum. Will fix it tomorrow.

The dogs are doing fine, just do NOT eat the food of Tiger. He bites the little ones in the face. But other than that, he cares a lot. This is Lucy, the black and white, she adopted them both.

We also had a visitor. Grey back with some yellow on the side. And it spits!

Philippine Cobra

We did not kill it.

Can you see it?

A Day in the Life of a Bamboo Tycoon:

The Pabo Mansion Chronicles

Today was a delightful escapade into the world of poultry real estate! Who knew owning a bamboo forest would turn us into the proud landlords of a Pabo mansion? Yes, you heard it right! Our humble abode for feathered friends is shaping up to look less like a chicken coop and more like a luxurious estate. Forget the white picket fence; we’re talking bamboo accents and open-air egg-laying patios! 🐔🏡

The Pabos (that’s fancy chicken for “chickens”) are eagerly eyeing their new digs, clucking with anticipation. “Hurry up, guys!” they seem to say. They’re ready to move in and start laying eggs like they’re auditioning for a reality show called “Keeping Up with the Cluckdashians.”

And why not waste a little bamboo? After all, if you’ve got a bamboo forest, you might as well turn it into a Pabo paradise! Who needs a boring old garden when you can have a sprawling estate for your poultry?

So, stay tuned as we transform this bamboo wonderland into the ultimate Pabo mansion. Who knows? It might just become the next hot spot for feathered influencers. Eggs-actly what we’ve been waiting for! 🥚✨

Stay clucky, my friends!

We also continuing working on our Exotic Flower House. Still busy with the Orchids.
