The Chicken House and its Apartment Dwellings
Our Sustainable Poultry Paradise: A Journey Towards Self-Sufficiency
Our commitment to sustainable living has taken a significant step forward with the establishment of our dedicated poultry area. Spanning 30 meters in length and 15 meters in width, this space is designed to be a thriving hub for our feathered friends.
At the heart of this area stands a spacious house designed specifically for our pabos, a type of indigenous poultry known for its resilience and adaptability. Recognizing the unique needs of young chicks, we have thoughtfully incorporated a chicklet apartment with convenient floor-level walk-out access, ensuring their safety and comfort.
Native and Monster Chicken
Recently, we welcomed new additions to our poultry family: native chickens and monster chickens. To protect these young birds from the elements, we have constructed a walk-out apartment that will provide shelter until they are mature enough to withstand the weather. We are thrilled to report that one of our native hens has already begun laying eggs, a testament to their healthy environment.
Our commitment to the well-being of our poultry extends beyond shelter. We are dedicated to providing vitamins and basic health food to our young chickens and pabos, ensuring their optimal growth and development. This area will not only provide us with fresh eggs and poultry for our own consumption but will also serve as a source for retail and employee benefits.
Looking ahead, we envision expanding our poultry family to include ducks and geese, adding a touch of diversity and joy to our farm. A second house, specifically designed for layers and broilers, is also in our future plans.
Planting more Trees.
To further enhance the environment for our poultry, we have planted 20 Madre de Aqua trees, which will provide much-needed shade and food. While it will take time for these trees to mature, we are dedicated to creating a thriving ecosystem for our animals. We believe in providing the best possible care for our poultry, ensuring their well-being and contributing to our journey towards self-sufficiency.
