Surprise from a Small but Dangerous Cobra

No Water on the Farm.

It is the 3rd day without water since FIBECO changed a transformer in the substation. Then the water pumps don’t run and power is down. They don’t have doubled up transmission lines so that they can easily take out one to fix it, or to switch it on another grid line. Mmmh. Well, well, it will come. But first the Cobra.

Our washing machine also failed, but I think it is only the fuse that burnt since a screw blocked the rotation of the drum. Will fix it tomorrow.

The Cobra

We also had a visitor. Grey back with some yellow on the side. And it spits!

The air chills as the serpent slithers soundlessly out from under the sheltering flowers and Alovera. Its spine arches, and within a heartbeat, the terrifying, iconic hood flares wide. It sways gently, watching your every breath with cold, unblinking eyes. Panic threatens to take over, but your instinct to protect your sanctuary snaps you into survival mode. You know you have to take action, but one wrong move could be catastrophic

Can you see it?

The dogs are doing fine, just do NOT eat the food of Tiger. He bites the little ones in the face. But other than that, he cares a lot. This is Lucy, the black and white, she adopted them both. Looking for the snake.
