Mulberry Madness: A Fowl and Goat-tastic Adventure!

Welcome to the whimsical world of mulberry trees, where chickens cluck with delight and goats nibble their way to happiness! If you’re looking to spice up your farm life with a splash of fruity fun, planting mulberry trees is the way to go. Let’s dive into this berry good idea!

Why Mulberries?

  1. Delicious Fruits: Mulberries are like nature’s candy! These juicy gems drop from the tree, providing a sweet treat for your feathered friends and four-legged companions. Chickens will be scratching around like they’ve hit the jackpot, while goats will munch on the leaves like they’re at an all-you-can-eat buffet!
  2. Health Benefits: Not only are mulberries tasty, but they’re also packed with nutrients. They’re rich in vitamins C and K, iron, and antioxidants. So, while your chickens are pecking away, they’re also getting a health boost. Talk about a win-win!
  3. Goat Gourmet: Goats are notorious for their discerning palates, and mulberry leaves are a hit! They’ll munch on them like they’re the finest salad in town. Plus, the prunings from your tree can be a delightful addition to their diet. Who knew goats could be such foodies?

Planting Tips

  • Location, Location, Location: Choose a sunny spot with well-drained soil. Mulberries love to bask in the sun, just like your chickens love to strut around!
  • Water Wisely: While mulberries are drought-tolerant, they appreciate a good drink during dry spells. Just don’t drown them—no one likes a soggy tree!
  • Patience is a Virtue: It takes a few years for your mulberry tree to start producing fruit, but trust us, the wait is worth it. Your chickens and goats will thank you with happy clucks and bleats!

So, if you’re ready to turn your farm into a mulberry paradise, grab a shovel and get planting! Your chickens and goats will be living their best lives, and you’ll have a delightful supply of fruits to enjoy. Who knew farming could be this fun? Happy planting!

Cluck, Cluck, Hooray! Freshmen and Fowl in the Mansion

Welcome, dear readers, to the grand spectacle of life where chickens, pabos and freshmen
collide in a delightful dance of chaos! Picture this: a stately bamboo mansion, once the abode of the big white dignitary, now bustling with the sounds of peeping chicks and the excited chatter of wide-eyed newcomers.

The Great Pabo Hatch-Off

First up, let’s talk about our feathered friends. Did you know that a chicklet can take up to 24 hours to fully hatch? That’s right! It’s like the ultimate slow reveal, but instead of a dramatic entrance, you get a fluffy ball of yellow fluff. Here’s how it goes down:

  1. Egg-citing Beginnings: The eggs are nestled under their cozy Pabo hen, turning them daily like they’re on a spa retreat.
  2. Peep Show: After about 21 days, the little ones start to peep, encouraging their still-snoozing siblings to join the party.
  3. Hatch Day: Finally, the moment arrives! Out pops a chick, ready to take on the world—or at least the enclosure.

Freshmen Take the Mansion

Now, let’s not forget our new freshmen! They’ve arrived at the mansion, probably thinking they’re stepping into a scene from a gothic novel. Instead, they find themselves in a lively hub of activity, where the only ghosts are the ones in their eaten friends.

  • Exploration Time: Freshmen are given the grand tour, complete with tales of the mansion’s history and maybe a few ghost stories to keep things interesting.
  • Towering Ambitions: They scamper up to the tower for a view that’s more breathtaking than their first midterm exam results.
  • Making Friends: Just like our chicks, they’re hatching new friendships, peeping out for their next adventure.

The Clucking Conclusion

So, whether you’re a chick breaking free from your shell or a freshman breaking into the world of higher education, remember: life is all about new beginnings. Embrace the chaos, enjoy the peeps, and don’t forget to have a little fun along the way! After all, in this mansion, it’s not just about the history—it’s about the stories we create, one hatch and one friendship at a time! 🐣🎉

Now, what’s your favorite part of this delightful chaos?

The Splash-tacular Water Project: A Liquid Success!

Well, folks, hold onto your rubber duckies because we’ve officially made waves with our Water Project! After much anticipation (and probably a few too many “Can we fix it?” songs), we installed a 1/2 HP Differential Water Pump. Yes, you heard that right—half a horsepower! Enough to make even the most stubborn garden hose tremble in fear.

What’s Flowing?

  • Running Water Galore: We’re not just talking about a trickle that makes you question your life choices; we now have great running water flooding the entire area!
  • Chicken Area: Clucking good showers for our feathered friends! They’ll be strutting around like they just got back from a spa day.
  • Goat House: Our goats can now enjoy a luxurious rinse-off (who knew goats were so high maintenance?). Future Build.
  • Flower House: Because even flowers need a good drink and a solid foundation to bloom into their fabulous selves!
  • Cafe: Coffee lovers rejoice! Your brews will never suffer from the dreaded “water shortage” blues again.

Bye-Bye, Barangay Blues!

With our nifty pump, we’ve waved goodbye to the Barangay water breakdown and shortages. No more juggling buckets and hoping for the best—our water supply is as steady as our enthusiasm for cheesy puns!

A Big Thank You!

A huge shoutout to the Buddy Boyz—you guys are the real MVPs! Without your help, we might have been stuck with a garden hose and a dream. Now, we’re ready to make some serious splashes!

So, here’s to our newly watered paradise! May the showers be plentiful, the goats be clean, and the flowers bloom brighter than our future prospects. Cheers to a life that’s a little less dry and a lot more splashy! 🌊

The Egg-citing Life of Clucky McCluckface

A Hen’s Tale

Gather ‘round, dear readers, for a tale that will surely crack you up! Imagine this: a hen named Clucky McCluckface, who’s just checked on her 11 precious eggs—each one a potential future member of her illustrious poultry kingdom. Yes, they’re all nestled in their luxurious egg mansion, complete with a golden yolk chandelier and a nesting box that would make any chicken swoon.

But wait! What’s that commotion? Our feathered friends, the nervous chickens, are clucking in a tizzy. Apparently, the male pabo—let’s call him Sir Struts-a-Lot—has taken umbrage at their incessant squawking. Poor guy just wanted to serenade them with his best crow, but alas, he’s feeling more fowl than fabulous!

And let’s not forget about the cobra chicken—yes, you read that right! This featherless neck wonder struts around like it owns the coop, sporting a look that screams, “I’m a fashionable reptile in a poultry world.” One might say it’s a case of mistaken identity, or perhaps just a chicken who skipped the neck accessory aisle.

So, what’s the moral of this egg-cellent adventure? Whether you’re a hen with eggs, a nervous chicken in a mansion, or a cobra chicken trying to make a fashion statement, remember: it’s all about embracing your quirks! After all, in the world of poultry, it’s better to be a peck-uliar character than just another ordinary hen.

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have to go check on Clucky’s 11 eggs—who knows, one of them might just hatch a future superstar! 🐣

Building the Pabo Mansion

Since a few days we improving the living conditions of our pabos. For them and a few more we are building a mansion, more than a chicken coop. Out of bamboo, footing in concrete and and 1 foot up painted with old motor oil. The walls will be in tomorrow, then one day for a door and a windows, then some concrete slush on the floor for easier cleanup. It can be done guys, not that difficult. Just a little bit of work. Make sure that the door handles are high enough so that dogs cannot open the doors. I heard some neighbor has difficulties with his smart dogs that are always opening the Pabo door and letting the Pabos out, yes Hallelujah.

The roof has some cracks due to the drying of the bamboo. Will fix it if it creates a big issue during rain. Maybe also motor oil? But interesting bamboo concept. Nothing will last for ever.
